Development at Tamparuli Town 2011

The vast outgoing development at Tamparuli Town need something to be shown for the public here. We as Tamparulian have enjoyed many development such as facilities in term of Transportation, Road, Electricity, Water, Education, Safety and many more. What I want to say is, we need something that showing something different inside Tampruli Town. To measure the development of any places in Sabah, people may judge from the facility around the city and what inside the city. If compare with Tuaran Town, there are a lot of commercial banks, fast food, shopping complex and many more. I want all of this to be inserted to my beloved hometown of Tamparuli Sabah. Can you Imagine if Tamparuli have KFC restaurant? or there will be more than two commercial banks here? How about grand shopping complex?

Tamparulian are more advance compare with tens years ago. There was a lot of famous people from Tamparuli  such as Artist, Singer, Politicians and many more (Name of this famous people you  can find it by yourself). We are far more advance now. The level of education for Tamparulian was getting better and better and according to my analysis which not complete and unauthorized yet, title of "Education Achievement and Development At Tuaran 2011" there are more than 30 doctors , lawyers and other professional career were originated from Tampruli Sabah. We are hoping that our beloved representative will continue his success for developing our beloved hometown of Tamparuli. Nice Job...

Sabah Covered with virgin forest

Sabah has one of the richest biodiversities in the world with an area of 59 per cent covered by forests, according to the Japan International Cooperation Agency's (JICA) chief representative in Malaysia, Tsutomo Nagae.

However, he said, it was faced with the threat of extinction due to the rapid economic development in the state.

As such, biodiversity conservation measures were considered necessary to be implemented as soon as possible in order to improve the situation, he said in his remarks at the closing of the Third Country Training Programme (TCTP) at 1Borneo, near here, today.

Nagae said the Japanese government, through JICA, strongly committed itself to biodiversity conservation and had implemented the Bornean Biodiversity and Ecosystem Conservation (BBEC) programme in Sabah since 2002, in cooperation with various implementing agencies including the Sabah government and Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

On the first phase of BBEC, he said the project focused on technology transfer with regard to building up the monitoring and research skills of different agencies, while the second phase focused on policy aspect by linking conservation activities with the decision-making process.

Nagae thanked the 21 participants from eight countries - Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, India, Myanmar, Tanzania, Thailand and Uganda for their successful completion of the 24-day training course.

Tourism, Culture and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Bolkiah Ismail, in his closing speech, said the state government had placed more emphasis on the environmental component and as a result, the cutting and exporting of round logs had declined in the last 25 years.

"We have gone into doing more downstream industries as well as making sure that our forests are harvested sustainably. We have also learned that there are many ways resources can be exploited and that a forest can be set to provide better production in the future. "At the same time, we have also seen the tourism industry, which began as a small venture, has now grown into a giant provider to the economy."

Bolkiah said the state government also continued to increase the number of natural habitats into the list of protected areas, adhering to international initiatives, and working hard to achieve international targets in conservation.

Petronas Gives Aid to 1200 Families In Sabah

I was on the way to Kota Kinabalu for a business meeting when I pass over a ceremony held at Berungis Petronas Gas Station on Thursday morning.  First, I do not know what was the occasion going to be but when I receive a sms from a friend 30 minutes after I pass through the Petronas Gas Station telling that our Chief Minister will be launching something at the Berungis Petronas Gas Station. The owner of the Gas Station is Datuk Jahid Jahim. No need to discuss more about this person because everybody know about him. After my business meeting with a friend at Kota Kinabalu end, I rushed back to Tamparuli and stop at the gas station but the program already ended. I manage to chit chat with a friend working at the gas station and he told me from A to Z about the program. What a good news! Petronas are willing to help the poor people in Sabah. Sabah was rich with oil and gas but............... Petronas should do this charity program 10 years ago because of our Oil and Gas was the most expensive and more quality compare with other Oil and Gas produce by other country in the world. Thanks to Petronas and keep up the good work.. Continue reading below article....

Some 1,200 underprivileged families in Sabah would be receiving aid under Petronas' Program Sentuh Harapan launched by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman in Berungis, here, Thursday.

Petronas' Senior General Manager of Group Corporate Affairs, Datuk Mohammad Medan Abdullah said these families were from Inanam, Donggongon, Penampang, Tuaran, Sipitang, Papar and Tamparuli.

He said the programme was initiated as part of the company's larger corporate social responsibility (CSR) to assist in the government's efforts in eradicating hardcore poverty in the country.

He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak initially launched the programme in Miri, Sarawak in July last year.

According to him, some 5,000 families throughout the country have been identified to participate in the programme.

"Even though the number may be small, Petronas is proud of the opportunity to improve the lives of people in Sabah who need help," he said at the launching of the programme by Musa.

Under the programme, he said hardcore poor families across Malaysia would be provided with a RM80 monthly food aid for a period of two years.

They would also be provided with supplementary courses to help them improve their monetary planning and management, he said.

The food aid, he said, could be redeemed by the recipients for essential food items at selected Petronas Kedai Mesra convenient stores using their MyKad.

In Sabah, the participating Kedai Mesra stores selected as distribution centres are in Donggongon (two stations), Inanam station, Bakut station, Papar station and Sipitang station.

"All selected Kedai Mesra have been equipped with an electronic system which provides an effective and efficient disbursement mechanism with audit trails to ensure the allocation reaches the identified families," he said.

The identified families, he said, were selected from the government's database with the assistance of the Welfare Department and local non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

He said Petronas is also working closely with MyKasih Foundation in implementing the programme.

He said the programme is not designed to be a short-term fix.

Mohammad said the recipients will be given training in basic financial literacy and skills to help them gain knowledge in areas related to family finances, ways to increase joint family income, promote learning culture among the children and youth as well as to encourage them to break away from the cycle of poverty.

"A Million People" (Association)-Bringing Impact to PRU13

Islamic NGOs attempt to summons a million Muslims to gather inside Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday 22/10/2011 simultaneously ago to signify a protest against those who kononnya Christian convert Muslims to the Christian needs to be taken seriously by the Malaysian Government.

Lately some of the opposition political leaders are edger to use some of the NGO agencies to perform provocation through religion to break the relationship between the society in Malaysia that have lived  in harmony for such a long period. If the attitude of this so call leader is not stop, I'm sure that  there will be chaos in our country political situation.

We need to take precuation duly returned to the history of the past which resulted in unrest so great tension force on 13 May 1969. As a Malaysian who was born in Sabah, I'm grateful because of the people of Sabah are respecting each other not like the people living in Peninsular of Malaysia.

The issue of religious redemption from Christian to Islam or vice versa is no longer a sensitive issue, due to family ties are so close that can not be separated, although with different beliefs. No matter where we worship, our relationship with God cannot be judge by other people.

With the emergence of various issues that membabit religion in this country that has not been any PRU13 ahead of any provision of his time, like playing in the meadow bolasepak injury, if-if the PM will blow wiselnya, I khuatir support of the people against the BN will be repeated as where the PRU 2008. This means PRU13 another bitter circumstances that must be passed by the BN. I have strong reasons, kerana not a simple issue of religion involves the Parti dissent, but few as much as a factor depths BN itself will bring padah.

Disclaimer UMNO Party leader who is the kingdom tunjang BN is not involved in the set, do not provide sufficient assurance to the people of this country while sebilangan this association has been lawful and got a permit from the policyholder. Indeed, the opinion crowded menghairankan bahawa something, if CLEAN forbidden why not the same service needs to be done for other NGO agencies are no exception.

Allegations bahawa this association has been dipolitikan by sesetengah party does not arise, kerana of Malaysians from various people, religious and political fahaman will witness the truth of who is right in this regard. What we expect all people who embrace the various religions will continue to pray for our country kesejetheraan, that God will continue to protect our people to live safely and peacefully and respectfully honoring Cuba sentiasa forgive those who do heinous acts against fellow human beings.

English School In Sabah and Sarawak

If BM and vernacular national-type schools allowed, why not English?
By: Lan Boon Leong

IT WAS reported in the press recently that the Education Ministry is sticking by its decision to abolish the PPSMI policy of teaching and learning Science and Mathematics in English.
This means that the two subjects will be taught solely in Bahasa Malaysia in national schools, and solely in Mandarin or Tamil in national-type schools.

Deputy Education Minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said he and many other academics believe the two subjects need to be taught in the student's mother tongue.

Unesco, in fact, advocates mother-tongue education for all subjects because studies have shown that children learn better in their mother tongue, that is, in the language they first learn to speak.

However, mother-tongue education, although desirable, will make national and national-type schools even more ethnically polarised than they are today.

Moreover, there are many Malaysian children of diverse ethnic backgrounds - Malays included - whose mother tongue or first language is English. But there are presently no English-medium national-type schools to accommodate them. These children are academically disadvantaged compared to their peers whose mother tongue is Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin or Tamil.

The solution to these two problems - ethnic segregation and linguistic inequity - is obvious: the government needs to add English-medium national-type schools to our national school system to complement national schools and Mandarin-medium and Tamil-medium national-type schools.

These schools will clearly not be attended solely by English-speaking Malaysian children.

Many parents of children whose mother tongue is not English would also send their children to these schools because they understand the importance of English for their child's future.

English-medium national-type schools will, therefore, have a much better ethnic mix of students than their Mandarin or Tamil counterparts and national schools, and thus be able to foster ethnic harmony unlike the other schools.

Furthermore, children whose mother tongue is not English who attend these schools should generally be more proficient in English than their counterparts who attend non-English-medium schools.

The benefits of English-medium national-type schools, which are vital to our country's future, are crystal clear. So what is stopping the government from establishing them? It is not difficult to do so - we could start simply by converting some of the former mission schools to English-medium national-type ones.

If you are a Malaysian parent in favour of the establishment of English-medium national-type schools, please vote at www.surveymonkey.com/s/NKRJVDH. You could also help to campaign by sharing the link to this article via email, Facebook and Twitter, and joining PENS (Parents for English-medium National-type Schools) at www.facebook.com/groups/PENSmember/.

If we do not push for English-medium national-type schools, they will never be established.
But if our collective voice through votes is loud enough, there is at least a possibility.
Vote and campaign for your children's future!

RM1 for Mental Check

Mental illness screening for Malaysian

Is it a good news or what? Can you imagine when you go for this so call mental sickness check and you found that you got mental illness? Although this mental check was the cheapest ever promoted by the Health Ministries Of Malaysia but as my opinion... less people will go for this "Mental Check". If the information about the health of any person who have undergo this mental check leaks... what would happen? Mind set needed to be changed first before promoting this 100% for public. Government need to introduce and give more information before starting this program. After a chit chat with a "Powerful Friends" yesterday... I admire one word from him "Experimental". Let the people decide it... Continue reading below article... Thanks HG

A Malaysian can check his or her mental status for just RM1 at any of the 78 government health clinics excluding the 1Malaysia clinics in Sabah.

State Health Director Dr Mohd Yusof Ibrahim, who disclosed this, said the service has been available to Malaysians in Sabah since last year.

"The Health Ministry has provided this service to all Malaysians who wish to assess their mental status. And they are only required to pay RM1 as the registration fee for medical check-up or to check their mental health status.

"We encourage the people of Sabah to grab this service which is made easy for them. They would be given a set of questionnaires compiled by the Health Ministry to answer and the result would be issued instantly," he said.

Dr Mohd Yusof said this when asked whether such service in the peninsula is also available in Sabah.

On Oct 13, the national media reported that Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai wants more Malaysians to go for the test.

He said the aim of the mental health screening exercise is to identify depression and other symptoms related to one's mental state.

Liow said the National Health and Morbidity Survey from 1996 to 2006 showed cases of psychiatric morbidity or unhealthy mental health among adults increased by 11.2 per cent in 2006 compared to 10.6 per cent in 1996.

Dr Mohd Yusof said the results of the service would be based on a scoring system or a scale that will determine the mental health status of a person.

"If the score of the mental health assessment shows that the person is unstable, then the clinic doctors would issue a referral so that the person can go for psychiatric assessment with our specialists in Hospital Mesra at Bukit Padang, here, Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Duchess of Kent Hospital in Sandakan and a government hospital in Tawau.

"It would be good for the locals to grab this service so that preventive measures can be taken to address their stress level and he or she can learn how to cope," he said.

20,800 extra jobs expected from swiftlet farming

Swiftlet farming is expected to provide jobs for additional 20,800 people across the country by the year 2020.

In stating this, Resource Development and Information Technology Assistant Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad said the Government realised the potential of swiftlet farming in Sabah is very high and therefore is encouraging all communities in the State to venture into this field.

"The Government is very supportive of this industry which is why the Government estimated job vacancies for this industry would amount to 20,800 by 2020.

"Therefore, it is important to introduce swiftlet house management skills training courses to the community to help the Government meet its target to be a major producer of bird's nest products in the world by the year 2020," said Jainab, while officiating at a Swiftlet's Nest entrepreneurship course, here, Saturday.

The one-day course attended by 70 potential swiftlet entrepreneurs was organised by Gain Forlife Sdn Bhd and Global Excellent Marketing Sdn Bhd (GEM).

Also present were Gain Forlife's Managing Director, Nelson Mosinoh, and GEM Chief Executive Officer, Abdul Aziz Mohammad Rejab, who shared their wisdom and knowledge in this field with the participants.

According to Jainab, recognising the enormous potential of the industry to the country, an allocation of RM1.8 billion (until 2020) had been provided by the Government under the Economic Transformation Programme and that the Government hoped to achieve a revenue of RM4.5 billion by 2020.

She also said the Government aimed to have a 40 per cent stake in the world bird nests market by then.

"To achieve this target, we need to increase bird nest production from 290 metric tonnes to 870 metric tonnes and step up downstream processing in the industry.

"In order to realise this target, our Prime Minister through Budget 2012, which was unveiled early this month, stated that the Government will strive to increase the number of the swiftlet houses in Sabah and Sarawak to 8,500 and to 4,500 in the peninsula.

"With this announcement, the Government will likely next year introduce a scheme to help eligible participants obtain financial assistance to start their business," said Jainab.

She said the industry could be run by rural Bumiputera entrepreneurs with the assistance channelled to them and that this could reduce poverty in these areas, especially in Sabah.

"This is because the industry can flourish in rural areas or villages as these places have bird food resources and also provides good returns on par with the plantation industry such as oil palm entrepreneurship," she added.

BMW R12 Motorbike German No1 During WW2

I really like the BMW R12 Motorbike made by the German during WW2 and really obsess to ride it if I had a chance soon. The bike was similar with the British Model 1940 Norton 16H also used during WW2 which apparently one of my father collection. Since the part of the 1940 Norton 16H already extinct, the motorbike was placed at our backyard garage but don't worry it was covered with plastic warping and safe from rust. My intention to store it was to get a high bid from my relative who are really want to buy it. Upgrading Tamparuli Facility - Road

Road Facilities Inside Tamparuli District

Sample Road
I have read so many news about the upgrading of the road facilities around Sabah, such as in Sipitang, Tenom , Kota Marudu and other district. I been waiting to hear a good news or most probarbly an article about the big  front title of the upgrading for my hometown roads facility. Although many development have been made by the assemblyman of Tamparuli but some of the rural area inside Tamparuli district need more attention and the people are hoping to get better road and other necessity which I think is important for them. Road was the most important facility to connect people and percisely it can be used as tool to get near the society by the respective person (You know what I mean!!!). One of the main road that has not been develop yet is, the road that connect  the main road near SMK Tamparuli Sabah to Kg Kionsom Baru Tamparuli. The cemetery was the last line by the jurisdiction of the Kiulu assembly representative control but the road connecting to the main road is under the jurisdiction of Tamparuli assemblyman.

I used to use it as a short cut to the main road to Tuaran and Kota Kinabalu. The road was narrow and really dangerous. The condition of the road is slippery when the rain fall and really dangerous for the motorcyclist. The low cost house phase 2 can been seen when you pass through the road from Kg Kionsom Baru Tamparuli to Kg Kalian Tamparuli near SMK Pekan Tamparuli Sabah. We hoping that before next year this road can e upgraded for the safety of the public and people living near the road. To show our respect to the representative person of Tamparuli, I should say very grateful to him because what he had done to Tamparuli district if compare with the last assemblyman elected by the citizen of Tamparuli and Tuaran district. We as the Tamparulian really greatful to you Datuk and we are still hoping for more development for our beloved town.

Hope to see you again soon....... Harry George December 2012

A new co-op to rid poverty

KSKB

Have you ever came across with Koperasi Sabah Kita Berhad? It is a non-government agency but have direct links with the government. The organization aims and goals wss to provide aids to the society to free them from poverty. Actually the KSKB now is aiming for the Keningau district. I'm hoping to see this non-government organization to develop the people income in other places in Sabah such as Tamparuli, Tuaran, Ranau, Kota Belud and Kota Marudu where a lot of people is still in shackle of poverty. What we can do to help the society and what can we contribute for the society? This two question need to be answered by all the citizen of Sabah and hopefully your can at least contribute something for the people of Sabah not just "Talking Rubbish" but there was nothing being achieved yet. To get more information about this so call KSKB please read below article... HG

A new co-op to rid poverty

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman announced a grant of RM1 million for the Koperasi Sabah Kita Berhad - a brainchild of ex-CM Tan Sri Harris Mohd Salleh to help rural farmers and breeders - to generate its funds.

He said the State Government always supported any effort aimed at the development of the people in rural areas.

"I hope the grant will be fully utilised for the benefit of the cooperative members," he said at the launching of the "Ladang Berpadu 3" organised by KSKB at Kg Ferry, Saturday. He said Sabah is blessed with wide hinterland and that the implementation of agro-based projects must be supported not only by the State Government but also related bodies and private sector.

Formed last year, KSKB has more than 40 participants and from 10 lots, it has extended to 40 lots.

"There are 28 more lots in the pipeline. Eventually the cooperative hopes to extend to about 20,000 lots of one acre each per farmer throughout the State," he said.

Other than Harris, the board includes Datuk Monggoh Orow (Secretary), John Lo (Treasurer) and directors Tan Sri Herman Luping, Datuk Paul Wong Kaw Chai, Haji Abdul Hakim Kala Khan, Raymund Tan Get Sing, Datuk Awang Sahak Awang Salleh, Yunop Marinking, Mohd Ruhul Amin, Berman Angkap and Datuk Dr Chang Kuan Hiong. Harris believes the new strategy and programme introduced by KSKB would succeed in eradicating poverty once and for all.

Explaining the concept, he said an acre of land is developed into integrated farming whereby the cash crops would provide and ensure the farmers have a steady monthly income continuously after 12 months while the permanent crops ensure, at the end of the day, a windfall sum amounting to a few hundred thousand ringgit.

"The programme would also create permanent jobs and keep the farmers fully occupied," he said.

Citing farmer Anik Ambawid whose land is being developed by KSKB, he said Anik sells 10 tonnes of lemongrass to the company at 65 sen a kilo or RM7,000. Anik he said still had 10 tonnes worth of lemongrass on his farm.

KSKB would resell the lemongrass to a factory in Membakut at 70 sen a kilo, making only a profit of 5 sen per kilo. The Membakut factory would process the lemongrass into aromatic oil and for cooking.

Harris noted that poverty is the number one concern of developing countries around the world. "These countries have been formulating programme after programme but so far none have been able to eradicate poverty in total.

"Thus, rural people in these developing countries remain poor generation after generation because government policies and programmes are not practical and more importantly because of single crops," he said.

For a start, KSKB is developing 10 lots out of 40 lots of land.

The development of the lots was contributed by Datuk James Pang and 12 individuals. Harris said the objective of KSKB is to augment and supplement what the State and Federal Governments are doing to improve the living standards of people in rural areas.

He said successive governments have been concentrating on bringing development to the people in the form of feeder roads, kampung roads, water and power supplies, educational facilities and better housing.

"However, the economies of the rural people remain the same despite the improved facilities."

Therefore, KSKB was formed to specifically provide economic development once and for all by introducing better farming methods that provide farmers with sustainable and steady income.

In this respect, he said farmers' lands that have been left idle from generation to generation would be fully developed.

"In a nutshell, the Co-operative's main objectives is more specific and micro in concept that will create jobs as well," he said.

He said strategic programme is referred to as "Integrated Rural Farming".

The aim is to carry out farming on one acre land namely: 3-in-1 cattle project that provide gas for cooking, organic fertiliser and cattle for sale after 12 months of intensive feeding 400 trees of Gaharu planted at 10x10 intervals within the one acre lot as permanent crop.

This is also known as the long term commercial crop, cash crop, either rice, tapioca, lemongrass or corn as short term commercial crops that will give the farmers a monthly income of cash.

Lemongrass and Gaharu are planted as a quick growing cash crop and permanent crop, respectively.

The lemongrass could be harvested within 12 months while gaharu between six and 10 years after planting. Both are inter-planted and planted at the same time.

Current State Govt the best led

Carry on the GOOD JOB

What say you about the current ruling government in Sabah? It's helping the people or not? If we compare with the previous state administration, which one was the best? To answer all this question we must refer to ex politician or chief minister perspective and opinions. Although their idea may different between them but we can choose the best opinion by comparing it. From my perspective view, as long as the current administration helping the society that will be consider as the best administrative. Win the people heart and surely you will got the best feedback from the them. Here I have copy paste a statement from our former Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Harris Salleh about the current administrative in Sabah. Continue reading below article.... Harry George

HARRIS commended Musa whom he described as a "people-loving leader" and the current State Administration as the best led.
"He really cares for the people. I would like to thank the Chief Minister and the State Government for assisting the cooperative," he said.

Harris admitted that when he was Chief Minister helming the Berjaya Government (1976-84), some of the projects implemented were unsuccessful because he depended too much on his staff.

"Now I am no longer the Chief Minister I make sure I go down to the ground personally to monitor all the projects," he said.

He thanked Musa for allocating RM1 million to KSKB.

"The Prime Minister also promised a substantial allocation to help the co-operative implement its projects.

Harris said the support from both the State and Federal Governments signifies that the co-operative's strategy and programme are in line with the State and Federal policies to once and for all eradicate poverty in the country.

The CSKB therefore deserved the support from everyone including government departments and agencies, he said. He said the co-operative would be extending its sphere of activities in the future by providing market for the smallholders who have fruit trees such as durian, langsat, rambutan, tarap, jackfruit and other seasonal fruits.

When these fruits start producing at the same time, he said there would be a glut in the market for it and thus providing only a small income to the smallholders and farmers.

Hence, CSKB is aiming to produce a five-year development (2012-2017) and open up more than 5,000 farm lots statewide.

Within the five-year development period, it hopes to open multi-purpose processing centr each in Keningau, Ranau, Tuaran and Kota Marudu.

"The establishment of the processing centres would ensure the produce from the farmers and smallholders are purchased by the co-operative that, in turn, process it into marketable products," he said.

What to talk about today in Blog Ideas Monday (BIM)? How to do effective blogwalking (BW). A little bit different from our normal post for BIM but an important thing for almost all new blog. Blogwalking is a basic thing to do for any blog. It will help you gain some traffic, increase your alexa rank fast (have you check SBC alexa rank?) and gain some backlink for your blog. In today BIM, we will give you some tips on how you can do a blogwalking and get a result that you should get from blogwalking. Just remember, not every blog will give you backlink and blogwalking is not about comment exchange. Two thing that most newbies mistakenly think in their head when do their blogwalking job.

What is blogwalking?

It is an activity where you visit someone blog and leave your comment in that blog.

Why do you need blogwalking?

1. Promote your blog to other bloggers.
2. Get some backlink. Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.
3. Get some traffic from the blog owner or their blog visitor.
Basic tools for effective blogwalking

1. Register your Google Analytics.

2. Register a gravatar for your blog email. Some blog like WordPress blogs, will use your gravatar as your avatar picture. People might not interested in a blogger without a picture in their comment, right?

3. Make sure you already add your blogspot link in your follower profile. Just go to your blog Followers widget and click “Join this site”. Change the setting and add your URL or blogspot blog and make sure your profile is visible to anyone.

4. Register your Twitter and Facebook account and add a Twitter and Facebook share button in your blog. When people give a visit back to your blog, It will be easy for them to share your post, if they want to.

5. Some of your blogwalking friends maybe will be a friends in your Facebook or Twitter account, don’t forget to register your RSS graffiti and Networkedblogs in Facebook and link it with your Twitter.

6. Make a blogroll or bloglist that related to your niche. In SBC, we register a new blog SabahBlogClub for our blog list. You can see all the latest post by blog in your blogroll. IMPORTANT: Blogroll in your blog homepage should be a list of blog that give a link back to your blog. You should put your blogwalking blogroll in other places. Make sure when people search for the blogwalking blogroll, the name you give to it can bring people to your original blogroll. Try search “SabahBlogClub“.

How can you find a blog to comment (target)?

1. Google blog search. Just type your keywords in the blog search.

2. Someone blogroll or blog list. When you land on someone homepage, you can see their blogroll or bloglist, you can start the blogwalking from here.

Short Comment like, “nice info”, “great post”, “nice photo”, “I Follow your blog” most probably will be treated as spam and people will not interested in a blogger with this kind of attitude or habit. If you don’t know what to comment, try Google on the matter that blogger is discussing. Give your opinion about the post. People will want to know you more if you have more knowledge about the discussion.

5. Not every blog should be in your blogroll! In SBC blogroll (SabahBlogClub), we have different list for different kind of blogger.
