What say about STAR in Sabah?

My Life My Story: A little gift from the Holy Land

What a wonderful gift from my wife cousin and brother in-laws for bringing such a wonderful holy souvenir from the Holy Land, Jerusalem the birth place of our lord Jesus Christ. Thanks to my wife brother in-law who just came back from Jerusalem for bringing a necklace with a cross, a jewelry stone taken from the sea of Galilea, a hat and a handbag. It was their pilgrims journey and it take about one week to complete. A safe home return for them and thanks again for the gift. Some picture to be shared to my beloved reader.

My Life My Story: Sabah Hawks Lost to Terengganu (3,6)

Huh what a mess... Sabah Lost their Super League match last night to Terengganu FA. I'm a little bit frustrated but what can do the ball is "BULAT". The match was really important for the team, at least one point can be achieved but Terengganu FA was really tough for Sabah Hawks. I salute the team because they fight really hard where the team have scored 3 goals before losing to Terengganu FA. I wish that Sabah Hawks will arise again soon. Sabah Hawks will meet with Selangor on 31st March for their next Malaysia Super League match. For full report read below passage.... Thanks... HG

Sabah was routed 3-6 by Terengganu at their Super League match on Saturday.

Sabah's defence caved in as early as in the fourth minutes. And they conceded two more in the 13th and 15th minute before Zainiazam Matjan scored in the 35th minute. Terengganu regained their three goal advantage in the 44th minutes only for Sabah to pull one back through Australian Brandan Gan who netted his first goal for Sabah a minute later.

Rozaimi Abd Rahman then gave Sabah a lifeline after the re-start with his strike in the 66th minutes to make the score 3-4. However, their attempts to salvage a point by attacking the opposition goal backfired as two quick counter attacks by Terengganu resulted in two more goals conceded in the 80th and 81st minutes. And Bobby Gonzales added to the misery when he failed to convert a penalty towards the end of the game when he shot over the crossbar.

With the loss Sabah dropped two places to eighth in the league table. Their next games will be a home match against Selangor FC at the Likas Stadium on March 31.

Sabah Lose it autonomy and people rights?

There is no need for Sabah to fear that it would lose its autonomy or the people their rights, said State Legislative Assembly Speaker, Datuk Mohd Salleh Keruak. He said the Barisan Nasional government would do all it can to ensure everyone enjoys equal rights in the country. He pointed out that as the general election nears, many parties would take the opportunity to find issues which could cast the present leadership in bad light. Among issues they would focus on for their own agenda, he said, include those on Native Customary Rights and land titles.

"But when we start asking why is the land here or that large piece of land in that district is owned by foreigners or West Malaysians we have to ask ourselves, and look deeper. "Then we will see that it is because our own people (original land owners), were the ones to sell the lands for fast and easy cash," he said, when winding-up the State-level social media convention in Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Saturday. "Another issue people often ask now is, why are there so many illegal immigrants? Where did they get all their ICs? Well, it may be because a certain person here says this person is his long distant relative, or that leader might say those people are his brothers," Salleh said.

Therefore, he said, it is not right for the locals here to keep blaming others when, in fact, they are the ones who made the decisions and were not forced into things or decisions they did not agree to. He also said the people had nothing to be afraid of because there are so many benefits and development felt by the people to date. "Just look at the State Cabinet and in most of our top State departmental posts, most of them are held by Sabahans. In the Federal Cabinet, there are also Sabahans such as Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili and Tan Sri Bernard Dompok," he stated.

"So there is nothing for us to worry about, because Sabah Umno and Barisan Nasional will always help stand up for and defend our rights," Salleh said. Another example, he cited, was the five per cent oil royalty for Sabah, which was also a decision agreed to by our forefathers in the early 70s. "If I were to choose, of course I want 100 per cent of the royalty for Sabah. But the fact remains that it was our forefathers who had agreed to whatever that was being discussed way before our time.

However, it does not mean it won't change. It might in future but it would be wrong to say that the Federal Government is taking advantage of us, because nobody forced us into doing or agreeing to anything. "Sabahans should not blame others for things they see and feel in the State currently, because we decided, and everything was based on our own free will," he stressed. Adding to that, Salleh also pointed out that Sabah and Sarawak being part of the formation of Malaysia, was also based on consensus among leaders and the people, even though there were a group of protestors at that time.

In this respect, he urged social media practitioners, be it bloggers, those on twitter, Facebook and so on to post and spread facts, and not "juicy news" the credibility of which may not have been proven. "More than 40 per cent of the population in Sabah have a Facebook account, though not everyone is active, yet the fact is that whatever you write on it will be seen by others.

"Therefore spread news and information the best you can, with credibility and truth. We cannot afford to be emotional in things we do. If we speak the truth, people will follow us," he pointed out. About 1,600 people including bloggers turned up for the convention.

My Life My Story: Money Loss through Banking Account

Have you ever being approached by an urgent message going through your e-mail? Asking you to update your banking account password.  I have been experiencing this but I always know this is just a fraud made by the scammer. I have posted before about this scammer through my blog and hopefully you have read it. Usually when someone got this e-mail, he/she will then being asked to fill up a form including with their banking account number. Then the scammer will sent a link that needed to be updated with the victim. The scammer used "KEY LOGGER" to steal the victim password and account number. The scammer then made it easy taking your money out from your bank account by doing simple money transfer to his/her or his/her friends account. We need to be careful with this scam activity. I hope that all the Sabahan alert with this so-called internet fraud. Continue reading below passage.....

The public should not disclose their bank particulars to any quarters to avoid being cheated. In giving the advice, City Deputy Police Chief Supt. M. Chandra said about 10 cases have been recorded this year that involved disclosure of bank accounts that led to loss of money. "Majority of the cases occurred through the Internet where the account holders had registered for online banking and they entertained requests and questions from quarters that claimed to be from the bank." Chandra said this during a "Meet the Public" session held at Wisma Kosan in Likas, Saturday.

In addition, he said, these people would pretend to be bank officers and make contact via handphones by calling and sending short messaging services (SMSes) to obtain the account particulars. "The best way to address this kind of suspicious requests is to verify the request with the respective bank. "Do not entertain immediately those requests as it would open the way for perpetrators to commit commercial crimes," Chandra said. On another matter, he said when it comes to lending of huge sum of money, the public should have a black and white documentation to avoid problems later.

He said this in reference to a case involving an elderly woman who sought police advice at the programme, saying she had lent more than RM20,000 to her friend who has since been missing. Chandra said he advised the victim to lodge a police report so that police can investigate whether there are cheating elements in the case.

On a complaint by a resident in Kg Likas about traffic jams during the time of Maghrib prayers and school children going home, he assured that several policemen would be sent there during peak hours to regulate traffic flow. Also present in the programme were City Traffic and Public Order Chief, DSP Peter Umbuas and senior officers.

Global News: US Soldier Suspected in Afghanistan Massacre

Afghanistan massacre suspect named as Sgt Robert Bales

Senior US officials told the BBC the name of the suspect as he was heading back to the US to face charges.

He has now arrived at a military detention centre in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, after being flown from Kuwait, the US Army said. He will be held in solitary confinement pending charges, the Army added.

Sgt Bales' lawyer, John Henry Browne, said he had been injured twice while serving in Iraq. Mr Browne also said the accused, aged 38, had witnessed his friend's leg blown off the day before the killings. That incident has not been confirmed by the US Army.

The Taliban called off peace talks in the wake of Sunday's deadly rampage - in which men, women and children were shot and killed at close range. The US has stressed it remained committed to Afghan reconciliation. Afghan President Hamid Karzai has also reacted angrily to the killings. He told the US it must pull back its troops from village areas and allow Afghan security forces to take the lead in an effort to reduce civilian deaths.

On Friday he said the US was not fully co-operating with a probe into the killings. He also said the problem of civilian casualties at the hands of Nato forces had "gone on for too long". "This form of activity, this behaviour cannot be tolerated. It's past, past, past the time," Mr Karzai told the BBC's Lyse Doucet at the presidential palace in Kabul.

Shortly after Sgt Bales' name emerged, Mr Browne confirmed that was the name of the soldier he was representing. Images quickly emerged online from a Department of Defense website thought to show him on duty in Afghanistan - and identifying him in the same unit as previously revealed by military officials, part of 3rd Stryker 2nd Infantry. The photos were soon removed from the live site but remained available to access. Sgt Bales has not yet been charged, but is the only known suspect in the killings - despite repeated Afghan assertions that more than one American was involved.

The Pentagon has previously said that he could face charges that carry a possible death penalty. Such a trial could take years, contrasting with Afghan demands for swift and decisive justice. In the town of Lake Tapps, Washington state, neighbours described their surprise at Sgt Bales' alleged crimes. Next-door neighbour Kasie Holland, whose children regularly played with Sgt Bales' family, told the Associated Press: "My reaction is that I'm shocked. "I can't believe it was him. There were no signs. It's really sad. I don't want to believe that he did it." Speaking in Seattle on Thursday, where Sgt Bales is based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, John Henry Browne said his new client was a "mild-mannered" man who bore no antipathy towards Muslims.

He described him as "a decorated soldier" who had an exemplary record before the shooting. The lawyer also suggested the soldier, who began his first deployment to Afghanistan in December, was not fit to serve because of injuries he had suffered on previous tours of duty. Mr Browne said that a car accident caused by a roadside bomb in Iraq had given the soldier a concussive head injury. Part of his foot had also been removed in surgery because of a battle-related wound, he added. "I think it's of interest that we have a soldier who has an exemplary record, a decorated soldier who was injured in Iraq, to his brain and to his body and then despite that was sent back," he said.

Mr Browne, who has represented a number of high-profile clients including serial killer Ted Bundy and a teenage thief known as the Barefoot Bandit, said his client was a happily married man with two children, aged three and four.

My Life My Story: Sabah Rural Area.

Sabah was labeled as a slowly develop states in Malaysia and what say you about this statement? For me I think it is true and there is no doubt about this statement. I have been working for almost 12 years now and most of it I was working in the big city such as Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur and Johore Bahru. For me to compare the development of Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur was unimaginable and off course the differences was really significant. How about the interior place in Sabah? I have been traveling in the interior place in Johor last year and the development was far more better than rural area in Sabah. Couple years ago, my jobs was travelling into the rural area in Sabah for the purpose of giving information about one of the famous private college in Kota Kinabalu. I was in sad mood when I look at the living environment in the rural area. I have been travelling to Kudat, Kota Marudu and Pitas rural area. I also have travel to Tenom, Pengsiangan, Nabawan and Sook rural area where there was no electricity and the condition of the roads were totally extreme.

When my ex-boss invited me to join SIB Skyline and Rotary Club Likas to do the social work, I don't even think twice and willingly to do anything for this NGOs. My first experience was to do a social work at Timbua for SIB Skyline. Our jobs was to give free motivational talk and ICT course at Timbua Secondary School. After we done our job there we went to the village where it took about 45 minutes from Pekan Timbua where the road during that time was really bad. I think it was in early 2007. I'm really proud for the Social Job that I have done. Since I was surround by a lot of workload I left this NGOs in 2008 but I still got connection with this social group. I have also join the Rotary Club Likas for doing social work in 2010. The NGOs activity bring me to Keningau, Sook, Nabawan, Tenom, Pensiangan, Sipitang, Beaufort and Lawas ( Sarawak ). There I have witness and see with my own eyes the living environment inside this rural area. the town area was equipped with public facilities but in the rural area was really unsightly.

The road condition was really bad, no bridge and telephone connection was unavailable. If compare with kampung area in Johor, Pahang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka where I use to visit it, Sabah rural area was really left far behind in-term of public facilities. The rural area in Peninsular Malaysia was equipped with wireless connection but in rural area in Sabah, there were equipped with wild animals....huh what the hack... I'm a little bit frusted when I went to Kg Naradan Ranau where it was labeled as P2 or Pendalaman 2 where there was no electricity, bad roads, no government water, no bridge and no telephone connection. I have to stay in this village for five years before I can move to other school. I have to follow order and I willing to do my responsibility as a teacher there. I don't mine to be sent to rural area but I just want to amend why this area were left behind without better public facilities. This village was not far from Ranau town. I hope that the local authority can do something in providing better roads and especially the bridge at Kepuakon River. What a citizen hope need to be full fill by the so-called YB incharge for this area without looking at the political background, races and religion. It was sad to live in a "NIPAH House" in the 21st century when the western people  were planning to build low cost housing on the moon and Mars. We as Sabahan at least need this three basic facilities such as roads, waters and electricity. Hopefully what the people of Sabah want will be full fill soon.

My Life My Story: Condolences to the ADO Family, Mr Hilde P Kayau

I was shocked to watch and hear the news last night at TV3. It was a sad new and I'm pity for the late ADO family's. I remember when I was working at Cosmopoint Kota Kinabalu as the Marketing Manager, we used to rent the so-called "Bilik Gerakan" Pejabat Daerah Kota Marudu and my staff have experiencing to meet this guy. He was cooperative and very understandable person. May his soul rest in peace. Amen......

A family's plan to spend the rest of the week together in Kundasang was cut short when the head of the family was found burnt to death in his car early Thursday. Assistant District Officer (Administration), Hilde P. Kayau, 43, is believed to have been killed after his car caught fire while he slept inside the vehicle. No foul play is suspected, said police. His charred remains were found in the driver's seat about 4.45am at Km 12, Jalan Tandek.

District Officer Luvita Koisun said Tambunan-hailed Hilde had stayed in the office late to finish some paperwork as he was preparing for his leave to spend the weekend with his family away from their home in Pitas. "He was supposed to start his holiday today (Thursday) to bring his wife and four children to Kundasang as students are on holiday now, that was why he stayed back and only drove home so late," she said. She said they believe he must have felt sleepy and had parked at the roadside.

"Nobody knows what happened after that. We are all very shocked and saddened by his death as he had always been a nice person to be with for the past eight years he had been working here," she said. "He was the Assistant District Officer in Pitas before he was transferred here and he had always been a friendly and reliable worker. His wife and children are living in Pitas," Luvita pointed out.

District Police Chief DSP Mohd Isa Yusof also said Hilde was heading home from Kota Marudu to Pitas when the incident happened."After receiving a call from the fire station, policemen were sent and initial investigations showed no foul play leading to the tragedy," he said.

The police were also made to understand that the engine of the vehicle had been repaired twice for faulty wiring. "However, we are still waiting for results from the forensics and chemistry departments to identify the cause," he said, adding that the case had been classified as sudden death.

Having known Hilde personally for several years, Mohd Isa was sorry he had to die that way. "He had no enemies that we know of, because he was nothing but friendly and cheerful," he explained. Meanwhile, Luvita said Hilde's wife and children were also present to identify his body and vehicle. "The wife identified him from the necklace and wedding ring he was wearing," she said.

I remember way back to 1992 where I represent SMK Tamparuli for a Current Issue Quiz where we beat ST James Tenghilan. It was the first time we beat SMK St James Tenghilan in academic competition. According to my memory St James Tenghilan was the best school in-term of academic performances but in-term of sport, SMK Tamparuli was the best. All the Sport representative were coming from SMK Tamparuli and I'm proud for that. We have a lot of sportman from SMK Tamparuli.

Last year performances for SMK Tamparuli for SPM result was really good, but for this year we aiming for excellent performances. There are plenty of Famous people who once studied there and one of our assembly man for Tamparuli. I will not mentioned his name. All of the Tamparulian were hoping to have good education when studying here at SMK Tamparuli. I'm very grateful that I once study there. It gives me a lot of sweet memory and trained me to become human and a good citizen. Finally I would like to express my grateful to this school and all the best. "SMK Tamparuli Gah Di Mata Dunia"

Sabahan Opinion For next general Election.

Not the time to seek change for the sake of changing
By: Mohd Jefri Radius

SPECULATION is rife that the nation's 13th general election is around the corner. Premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak cum Umno President and Chairman of BN component parties, has the prerogative to announce when the election is due to be held, regardless of whether the promised electoral reforms proposed by the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC), can be implemented.

So far the use of indelible ink and nomination of a person to accompany and to mark the ballot sheets on behalf of the disabled registered voter had been given the green light. Presently, the Premier is making a string of tours nationwide as does his deputy and other members of his Cabinet. The objective is obvious - that the present government aims to continue with more than a simple majority when elections are called anytime from now until April 24, 2013.

A number of straight fights for State and Parliamentary seat between BN and PR in Peninsular Malaysia looks imminent, despite much talk about the emergence of parties and pressure groups forming a "Third Force", and whose support could make or break either the ruling side or the opposition. In Sabah, there is a possibility of many cornered contests taking place in several constituencies. This is in view of there being a string of opposition parties that do not wish to be under the Pakatan Rakyat.

The latest is the Sarawak-based State Reform Party (Star) led by former PKR Vice-President Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan as its Sabah chief and SAPP, once a member of BN spearheaded by former CM Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee.

In neighbouring Sarawak, the focus will only be on parliamentary seats as the State poll was held last April 2011, where local parties in the BN coalition namely (PBB, SPDP, PRS except SUPP) successfully retained most of the rural seats and secured the mandate to continue ruling the State for another five years. Several urban seats were lost to Pakatan Rakyat with DAP taking the major slice of 12 seats and PKR three indicating that the party is making inroads into Sarawak politics. PAS a member of the Pakatan and SNAP, the local party that had opted to stay out of the PR during that particular election, failed to secure any seat.

Strategically, the opposition PR had set a compromising formula in the recent Sarawak polls, whereby only one party was permitted to contest against the BN in any seat depending upon the candidate's suitability relevant to the constituency. As an example, in the predominantly Chinese urban state seat of N.09 - Padungan (23,576 voters) DAP candidate Wong King Wei won the seat defeating BN-SUPP candidate Sim Kiang Chiok with 7,884 majority in the straight fight, while PKR and PAS stayed out.

At the recent Umno General Assembly, Najib told delegates that the party leadership will only field "winnable candidates" in their respective constituencies. Generally, the definition of the term "winnable candidates" refers to any prospective candidate having the potential to win with the solid backing of the grassroots or constituents apart from fulfilling other criteria upon full screening and evaluation by the respective parties' leaders.

It is worth bearing in mind that in today's scenario, the choice of fielding political candidates with low level academic qualifications is no longer tenable. Politics being a science of government, the prospective candidates must be at least the product of the learned world, in possession of better general knowledge relevant to modern politics, keeping abreast and well updated with current affairs taking place domestically, regionally and globally. Other aspects that need to be considered are of course, the backgrounds of their families, the nature of their personalities and attitudes, their level of exposure and past contributions to the local communities within the respective constituencies.

Are they approachable and cordial and ready to mingle with every strata of the society? Are they truly good by natural character deserving support and willing to serve the people humbly and fairly upon getting the mandate and not merely good as they appear to be during the eve of the election period? Theoretically, if the check list is affirmative, the prospective candidates stand a better chance of winning if chosen. Not surprisingly, as the polls days get closer, be prepared to see certain groups comprising members of a political organisation, believed to have the blessing of some "hidden hands" openly indicate that incumbents in certain constituencies need to be replaced for whatever reason. Their sole intention may be seen by others as a means of attracting the attention of the top party leadership on the status quo of the incumbents.

The irony is their course of action obviously seen as contradicting, bypassing or going against the procedures, which could adversely affect the jurisdiction of the State Party Chief to endorse his recommendations on the potential candidates even before it reaches the desk of the party president for the final say. The Daily Express report on Feb 23, 2012 with the headline "A Mystery Man Behind It: Anifah" is a case in point.

The minor rallies staged by such groups no doubt are democratic and rational only if the incumbent is truly a useless or "sleeping partner" in the Government.

The reality, unless the protesting groups are poorly educated, is that the incumbent has a fine track record that augurs well for his constituents during this term of office as the honourable representative of the people and instrumental in bringing tremendous socio-economic development for the general well being and prosperity of his constituents.

Then the sensible question that need be asked is whether there is any justification to replace such an incumbent. Najib himself had said that "If the winnable candidate is put forth by a group without considering the wishes of the majority of voters that candidate would not succeed." Former Umno Treasurer and Finance Minister during the era of Mahathir, Tun Daim Zainuddin, too, had some relevant message for many Umno members to ponder at all time especially during election period. He said "Indiscipline among party members can destroy the party. We lost many seats in the 2008 general election because of this.

We lost because of our own weakness due to disunity and not because of the opposition strength" (DE Feb 12th, 2012).

Statistically, the latest figures of young Malaysian citizens who have yet to register as voters thoughout the country is about 3.3 million, including 311,884 in Sabah. In the 12th GE, no one could deny the fact that a number of new faces regardless of their political affiliation had won with landslide victory in their respective constituencies particularly in the peninsula through the support of younger generation voters.

BN-MCA candidate Chue Tee Yong (MP for Kulai), and PR-PKR Nurulizzah Anwar Ibrahim (MP for Lembah Pantai) are cases in point. Other factors might also have contributed to their victories. The opinion of Dr Jeniri Amir, political analyst at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) is worth taking into account as well. He said "BN can still win, but it would not be as easy as in 2008, while there is also a need for the ruling coalition to identify candidates earlier and put up as many new faces as possible."

The BN leadership has set a strategic winning formula via reasonable allocation of seats to every component party in the country both at State and Parliamentary level, by virtue of the studies made on the existing racial compositions and statistics of voters within every constituency.

In the 12th GE four years ago, Sabah BN only lost one Parliamentary seat to DAP out of the 25 seats contested. Umno won 13 seats, PBS - 3, Upko - 4, PBRS -1 (uncontested) LDP - 1, SAPP -2 (now in opposition) and DAP - 1.

BN, too, had won almost all the 60 State Legislative Assembly seats it contested in the GE held simulataneously. Umno won 34 seats, PBS - 12 seats, Upko - 4, LDP - 3, SAPP - 4, PBRS - 1, MCA - 1and DAP - 1.

On the Sabah politcal chessboard, BN will certainly stick to the same formula or gambit versus the PR (PKR, DAP & PAS) and other opposition parties like Star and SAPP, etc.

Unlike PKR, DAP and PAS, which need a consensus before any party could field its candidate in a particular constituency be it at State or Parliament level, the Opposition parties outside the Pakatan Rakyat eg Star and SAPP do have the advantage of having a free hand to decide the number of seats they wish to contest as they are not governed by any restrictions. Which means both Star and SAPP could field candidates in all State or Parliamentary seats.

Of course, the respective parties do have their strategies and will definitely focus on constituencies where they stand good chance of winning based on grass roots feedback and the availability of effective and operational election machinery, which is the vital factor to consider during the crux of the campaigning period.

Based on talk in most towns in the Interior Residency, there is strong possibility that the opposition party Star which has a number of KDM professional leaders will intensify its effort to field candidates in constituencies currently held by PBS, Upko, PBRS as the current incumbents are mostly from the same stock or communities and so forth, This would only be known on nomination day.

However, it is more likely that the local opposition in Sabah may have to adopt an election strategy it deems suitable. Star, SAPP and Usno are said to come under one umbrella of the United Borneo Alliance (UBA). According to Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, the Sabah Chairman for Star, are now in discussion with PR to incorporate a united opposition to face the BN.

The question now is whether Sabah BN is able to achieve better or retain its current seats which the coalition won both at State and Parliamentary level during the 12th GE, so at to continue administering the State with fresh mandate which is crucial to effect further socio-economic growth in Sabah under the dynamic leadership of CM Datuk Seri Musa Aman, the man some insist has the "Midas Touch"

Consequently, do we really need to change the political landscape of Sabah without giving second thoughts deeply and seriously? Seeking change for the sake of change would not benefit the people. Sabahans have undergone dark days in the past and certainly want never to return to those eras.

My Life My Story: Register as a legal voter before May 2012.

Hello and Good Day for all Sabahan and Malaysian. We meet again and for today post I would like to amend about the next General Election in Malaysia. Malaysia General Election conducted every four year and this is our opportunity to select new government instead of maintaing the old ruler. For my opinion, let's us continue the current ruler but we need more power for Sabah because "we are powerless now". The main point was we want more " Decision Making Power " so that all the Sabahan can voice out what they want in Sabah. Actually I wanted to summoned all the Tamparulian whose age 21 years above to register as a legal voter and perhaps this young voter can change what is happening right now. I'm as a Tamparulian was really grateful for the development in this district but I'm a little bit pity for other places such as Kudat and Kota Marudu. Hopefully the voters there can choose what is good for their district not just a "Janji-janji Kosong" throw to them as the assembly pleasure. The are many places in Sabah which need more attention and development. The rural area in Sabah need better roads, bridge and especially communication in-term of telephone connection. Last but not least, for all Tamparulian, Tuaran and Kiulu who have not register yet, please do so before end of May 2012 for the eligibility for voting in the next General Election. All the best and may peace be with you all. HG 2012.

THE EC Chairman urged Malaysians in Sabah who have reached the voting age of 21 to register to make them eligible to vote in the coming election. He said that out of 1.19 million people in the state who are aged 21 and above, there are still 312,070 who have not registered as electors. "I am advising them to register quickly; there is still time because the electoral roll will only be gazetted in May," he said.

Abdul Aziz also announced that vote-counting process would only begin at 4pm for the polling centres which closed early. "In the previous election, the ballot papers were counted as early as noon at several centers including in the Kinabatangan and Pensiangan parliamentary constituencies in Sabah," he said. The latest move was important, he said, to prevent the possibility of a result leak, and certain people using the information to launch a psychological war. "This is a new challenge for the EC in the era of the social media and speedy communication such as Facebook, Twitter and short message system," he said.

When asked whether the EC is proposing to ban the use of mobile telephones at vote-counting centres, Abdul Aziz said at the moment the commission has not made any decision to enforce such regulation.

Sabahan mum wants her daughter's killer punished

The mother of Nurul Nadhirah Abdullah, the five-year-old girl whose charred remains were found on Thursday, will not forgive the person who murdered her. Roselyn Alan, 25, said she wants the killer to be punished accordingly."I don't know why anyone would want to do this to my daughter.

She was still a child and didn't know a thing. No, I won't forgive the murderer; I want the perpetrator to go through what my daughter had gone through," Roselyn said Tuesday. She had earlier received a condolence visit by Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff and wife Datin Bibi Zakiah Meraslam.

Roselyn said it was extremely painful for her upon receiving the calls from the police confirming the charred remains found at an oil palm plantation were those of her daughter, known affectionately as Dirang. She said she constantly asks herself why her daughter was subjected to such cruelty. "I'm not rich, I don't have any money. I don't even have any enemy," she said, adding that she could not sleep nor eat since Dirang's disappearance on March 1. She added that she had tried to look for her daughter by driving around the town from morning until night.

She described Dirang as a good and jovial child and said that she was constantly reminded of her, particularly during the time when she prepares milk for her youngest child, two-month-old Ainul Suhada Abdullah. She added that Dirang adored her younger sister and would kiss her and dress her with pink shirts. She also liked to play with colouring books and wanted to become a doctor, Roselyn said. "Dirang always asked for milk and food. She would hug us, and we slept together.

Before she went missing, she had a bread for breakfast and she hugged me and asked whether I loved her," she said. Police confirmed Monday, after a DNA test, that the charred remains which were found at an oil palm plantation in Nusa Damai, Masai, near here on Thursday were those of Nurul Nadhirah. Nurul Nadhirah went missing on March 1 after going out to buy instant noodles and eggs at a sundry shop at the Seri Delima Flats. Police have obtained a remand order against five individuals, including a woman, to help their investigations into the case.

My Life My Story: Sad Story For Malaysian

Malaysians mourn death of 5 year old girl, Nurul Nadirah Abdulah.God Bless Nurul Hadhirah Abdullah, 5 years old. She is now in Heaven. The whole of Malaysia mourns the tragic killing of 5 year old little girl, Nurul Nadhirah Abdullah in Johor.

Malaysians are sad and angry. They want justice, swift justice in the form of violent end to the killer/s. Make those child murderers suffer before we send them to the bottom pits of Hell!!!

No need to give the chance to defend themselves in court of law because those animals did not give any chance for poor Nurul Nadhirah to defend herself.

Even the police have described the killing of Nurul Nadhirah Abdullah, as cold-blooded murder.

We cannot imagine the little girl's sufferings in the final hour before being killed.

Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said his deputy Datuk Ismail Yatim has been tasked with heading the preparation of the investigation papers to speed up prosecution.

"We are also awaiting several more reports from the Chemistry Department," he told reporters when visiting the family of Nurul Nadhirah, or Dirang, at her home at the Seri Delima flats, Bandar Seri Alam, Johor Bahru, on Tuesday 13th March 2012.

Mohd Mokhtar said 3 of the 4 suspects arrested, including a woman, aged between 30 and 40, tested positive for drugs, including metamphetamine and ice.

And i say, just KILL THEM ALL. JUST THROW THOSE FOUR BASTARDS INSIDE A CROCODILE PIT, INFESTED WITH 1,000 HUNGRY CROCODILES AND THEN LAUGH WHENEVER THOSE KILLERS SCREAMED WHILE BEING EATEN ALIVE!!!

Two of them have previous criminal records for drug offences and thefts.

Mohd Mokhtar, who was accompanied by his wife, Datin Bibi Zakiah Meraslam, offered his condolences to Dirang's family and urged the public not to expose their children to danger and be wary of suspicious characters in their neighbourhood.

On a text message received by Nurul Nadhirah's mother, Roselyn Alan, 25, asking for RM30,000 for the safe return of her daughter Monday, Mohd Mokhtar said the Kelantan police would trace the sender and take the suspect to Johor.

But i say, that particular SMS sender should be burned alive for making this sad situation, worse..!!!

The DNA samples from the charred remains found at Nusa Damai oil palm plantation, Masai near here on Thursday, 8th March 2012, have been confirmed as those of Nurul Nadirah.

The girl went missing after leaving her home to buy eggs and instant noodles at a sundry shop near her flats at 11am on March 1, 2012.

Her remains were found about 9am in a 3.5m hole dug in the plantation, which was 3.5km from the flats through a short-cut.
