Campagin should be implement to stop this wrong doing and I do not want this thing happen in my home town of Tamparuli Sabah. For the Tamparulian be very careful for your son and daughter and for the teacher keep on alert. For more information please read the passage below.

Two locals, including a 17-year-old boy, turned themselves in to police here on Wednesday for alleged involvement in the assault of a 15-year-old student outside a school in Tanjung Aru.

The 30-year-old man and the teenager were arrested at the Karamunsing police station at 11.30am.

City Police Deputy Chief, Supt. Ramli Mat, said the two suspects had been placed under remand and that police also seized a purple Proton Saga.

He said the two suspects would be investigated under Section 325 for causing grievous hurt, which carries a maximum jail term of seven years and fine.

He said the student's mother had lodged a police report about her 15-year-old son being beaten by a motorist, who drove a purple Proton Saga, at 2pm on June 24.

"The victim's friends were playing football at the school field when the ball flew out and hit one of side mirrors of the car, shattering its side mirror.

"The victim had picked up the ball after it ended up inside a drain and the motorist seized the opportunity to pounce on him. The victim sustained wounds on the left side of his face and eye. He was sent to the hospital to be given medical treatment," he said.

Earlier, City Police Chief ACP Ahmad Sofi Zakaria had pledged to solve the case within this week after the victim's mother wondered why the police were taking so long to settle the case.

In another case, Ramli said two women and a man, including a college student, were arrested for having a drug substance believed to be syabu inside a rented service apartment here on July 11.

He said police seized 28 small plastic packets believed to contain 5.2gm of syabu with a market value of RM1,500.

He said the three suspects aged between 23 and 32 were believed to be drug dependents and also pushers.
