The largest budget in the history of the state, amounted to 4.048 billion dollars, are presented in the State Legislative Assembly conference, in Kota Kinabalu on Friday, November 18, 2011.The budget is 31.92 percent higher or involving 979.62 million increase over the 2011 budget amounted to 3068 billion dollars.

In his presentation anggarah He said the state revenue in 2012 amounted to 3690 billion dollars through tax revenue and non-tax revenue.
The main objective of Sabah 2012 budget is to stimulate economic growth with emphasis on the improvement of basic infrastructure and public infrastructure for the benefit of citizens and investors.
It is to maintain the economic momentum, strengthen the State's financial position as well as eradicate poverty and reduce rural-urban divide.
He said the state's economic growth this time was 4 percent.
