SBPA Weaknesses: CUEPACS Protest AND ADVICE NOT TO SIGN FIRST!!

The Congress of Unions of Employees in Public Service (Cuepacs) will meet with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on 19 December in order toexplain the objections to the scheme of the New Remuneration of Public Service (SBPA).

Its president, Datuk Omar Osman said in the meeting CUEPACS will also raisethe weaknesses inherent in the scheme.

According to him, at present CUEPACS, SBPA decided to reject the offer as it is done in a short time and without consultation with the congress.

Following that, he said, the union that represents 1.4 million public servants to further consultation was held to discuss the scheme.

"After the CEUPACS met today (yesterday), we argue SBPA and found many things thatare not clear in the offer," he said after chairing a special meeting for two days to discuss the SBPA offers here.

SPBA announced by Najib in the 2012 Budget last October promising a better scheme ofmerit-based salary and an annual increase of between RM80 and RM300.

According to Omar, the government advised its members not to sign the SBPA offer until further consultation with the Prime Minister carried out.

P/s: Are the new SBPA for the public servant in Malaysia did not reach for what the Malaysia public servant wants? I have read the SBPA Circular and the details about this new offer for the public servant in Malaysia and I think as my opinion about it, there something one-sided weaknesses about it. Let wait for the meeting then we can decided later. The meeting between CUEPACS and our Prime Minister is on 19 December. We will wait for that. Till then.... All the best for the Public Servants In Malaysia... Harry George
