Inilah ikan paus yang terdampar di perairan Kuala Penyu, Sabah pada Khamis 2 Ogos 2012. Mamalia ini yang dianggarkan sepanjang 48 kaki atau lebih 6 meter dan berat bertan tan, dilaporkan tersesat sebelum terdampar di perairan cetek dekat Pekan Kuala Penyu.

Usaha bomba menyejukkan badan ikan paus ini dengan menyembur air, tidak diketahui membuahkan hasil atau tidak. Juga belum diketahui samada ikan paus ini masih hidup atau sudah mati.

Latest info... TV3 confirmed that the whale is dead.. what a waste..
