The 13th edition of the Unit Trust Week Malaysia (MSAM) will begin at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex, in a fortnight.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is expected to declare open the Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) annual fair on April 20 while Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin attend the closing ceremony on April 28.
The nine-day event was expected to draw 20,000 visitors, PNB President/CEO Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said.
Government agencies, Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd agents, PNB investee companies and Sabah-based companies are among 38 exhibitors that will set up 196 booths at the venue.
MSAM 2012, with the theme "Investment for 1Malaysia, offers various exciting prices including a Ford Fiesta 1.6L Sport from Sime Darby, a Toyota Hilux 2.5G from UMW Holdings and a Perodua Myvi 1.5 Extreme from Perodua.
Among other prizes are 15 motorcycles and 35 bicycles contributed by MIDF; six units of notebook, 12 units of iPad 2, 50 units of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 dan 50 units of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 PLUS by I&P; and pharmaceutical and health products by CCM.
