A Little Bit About Futsal Game

Futsal is a variant of association football that is played on a smaller playing surface and mainly played indoors. Its name is derived from the Portuguese futebol de salão and the Spanish fútbol de salón (colloquially fútbol sala), which can be translated as "hall football" or "indoor football". During the sport's second world championships held in Madrid in 1985, the name fútbol de salón was used. Since then, all other names have been officially and internationally changed to futsal.

Futsal is played between two teams each with five players, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutes per team are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor football, the game is played on a hard court surface delimited by lines; walls or boards are not used. Futsal is also played with a smaller ball with less bounce than a regular football. The rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.

Futsal started in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1930, when Juan Carlos Ceriani created a version of football for competition in YMCAs. In Brazil, this version developed on the streets of São Paulo, and, eventually, a rule book was published. The sport began to spread across South America, and its popularity ensured that a governing body was formed under the name of FIFUSA (Federación Internacional de Fútbol de Salón) in 1971, along with the World Championships. The first World Championships were held in Río de Janeiro, with hosts Brazil crowned champions ahead of Paraguay. Even more countries participated in the second World Championships held in Las Vegas in early 2000's.Due to a dispute between FIFA and FIFUSA over the administration of fútbol, FIFUSA coined the word fut-sal in 1985.

FIFA took control of the World Championships in 1989. Under new rules made by FIFA, the technical aspects of the game for players and spectators were improved. The linesmen were replaced with a second referee, and there were unlimited substitutions. It also introduced a size 4 football, which was weighted to reduce bounce by 30% compared to a conventional ball, which enabled faster play and, for the first time, scoring goals with the head.

Brazil–Argentina futsal game
FIFA's relationships with its member associations allowed more countries to gain knowledge and resources about futsal. FIFA soon began to administer its own indoor football games, hosting its first FIFA Indoor Soccer World Championship in 1989 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. In 1992, it was the FIFA Five-a-Side World Championship (Hong Kong), and, since 1996, it has been called the FIFA Futsal World Championship. Thanks to the increase of the number of nations that participated in the FIFA Futsal World Championships held in 2000, Brazil's dominance in the competition was ended by Spain.

In 2004, members of PANAFUTSAL (La Confederación Panamericana de Futsal, The Pan-American Futsal Confederation) formed AMF (Asociación Mundial de Fútbol de Salón, World Futsal Association), an international futsal governing body independent of FIFA. Both FIFA and AMF continue to administer the game.

Street Lamp For Safety

Street Lamp For Safety

Street Lamp from Roundabout Kg Berungis to Roundabout at Telekom Tamparuli.

Tamparuli Town is in a vast of development nowadays, many new building and other facility are being developed by the moving forward ambition YB Datuk Jahid Jahim as the key person for the said development. Tamparuli district is covered from roundabout Kg Berungis to Pekan Nabalu, some part in Tenghilan, Topokon and some part area to Kiulu Town. As the citizen of Tamparuli, we know that our YB is really showing his commitment to develop the town and his people. The road is looking better from time to time, rural area of Tamparuli is being developed and monitored directly from the YB itself.

Normally people is edger to get more and really hard to satisfy their need, there will always be a complain, suggestion and so forth coming from them. When I was sitting in coffee shop couple days ago, I heard some of the old folk of Tamparuli was talking about needing a Street Lamp from Roundabout Kg Berungis to the Roundabout near at the Telekom Building at Kg Tamparuli bring me an idea to write this forum to get attention from our beloved YB to consider this matter.

I think that this Street Lamp is really important same with the road and other necessity needed by the people. As a regular driver from Tamparuli to Kota Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu to Tamparuli everyday I think that this street lamp is important to the driver and the pedistarian who regularly use it. Many cases such as hit and run, accident happen such as the driver hit a bufflo and apperently all of this accident happen at night. If you travel from KK to Tamparuli at night and it raining, huh it so dark and even your car lamp is cannot cover all your eyes sight. Even with the professional driver also can make mistake. The street lamp can make the people in alert situation and ready for unexpected accidents.

If you compared with other town like Tuaran, the street lamp is really important just like what people need like water and electricity. If you travel from roundabout Kg Raganan to Tuaran Town you will find it easly to travel because the Tuaran authority provide this services for the saftey of the people. Tamparuli town is also important if compare with Tuaran Town. Maybe someday Tamparuli will become a big city like Kota Kinabalu so this street lamp is really important for the public using the road.

Hope for these reason will lead something good for the people to be more concerned about their surrounding and be more alerted by any circumtances to be. This is the good for the user.

Commercial Bank At Tamparuli

Commercial Bank At Tamparuli

We need more commercial bank at Tamparuli.

Tamparuli town is in vast of developing right now, here and there development and becoming busier than ever. People from Tamparuli now is in the starting point to become more develop than ever and I hoping that this vast development will continue until Tamparuli will become one of the best town in the world. More people means more business transaction and more business transaction means more money flowing and that means more commercial needed at Tamparuli town.

The main reason why I wrote this article because I wants to attract attention from the public or government agency to look this matter more seriously. If you go to Tamparuli town, you will see that there is only one commercial bank in Tamparuli that is the sole BSN ( Bank Simpanan National ). The Post office is cannot be considered as a commercial bank because there is some business transaction that cannot be done there. Many of Tamparulian have to travel to Kota Kinabalu to find other commercial banks such as CIMB, Bank Rakyaat, Maybank and many more to do their business transaction.

I am a pure citizen of Tamparuli and using banking transaction everyday and luckly I just do it from my Laptop with the help from the service so call online banking. What about the other people who cannot afford to this? huh.. it's really hard for them to travel from town to town just because to find other commercial other than BSN and surely it costly and energy consuming. 13 years ago Sabah Banks and Alliance Bank have their own branch here but this banks stop their services in 1998. When being asking by the public they said that Tamparuli town is a slow moving town in term of business opportunity and transaction. That was 13 years ago.... but now is different, people are starting to develop their very own business and that means there will be more business transaction will be done at Tamparuli town. We need more Commercial Bank at Tamparuli.

TAMPARULI: Located some 36km from Kota Kinabalu, Tamparuli is set to soar into international tourism following the launch of a paragliding adventure. State Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim said: “Once the sport takes off, it will benefit the local community in job and business opportunities, besides boosting Sabah’s tourism industry.”

Jahid, who is also Tamparuli assemblyman, said the area had high potential for paragliding activities.“This is good for Tamparuli as the sport will benefit locals,” he said after launching the event here recently. Also present was Korean Paragliding Association president Kim Dong Sul, had been here several times to conduct trial runs for the paragliding activities.

The activities are operated by Borneo Air Sport Ozone Adventures, with the takeoff on the 1,000m Bukit Ruhiang, while the flat land beside Tamparuli Cultural House near the town has been marked out as the landing site.“I was informed that there are about 250,000 paragliders in South Korea and about six million worldwide.“If we can get just 10,000 of them to come to Sabah, it will be a shot in the arm for tourism here,” Jahid noted.

He said there were plans to promote activities such as white-water rafting to tap the sub-district’s potential as a tourism site.To a question on infrastructural development, Jahid said that paragliding required minimal costs while providing maximum impact in terms of tourism to the local economy. He expressed confidence in the sport as youths craved for challenges and an adrenalin rush.Meanwhile, Kim said that Sabah had suitable hills and mountains like Bukit Ruhiang for paragliding.Borneo Air Sport Ozone Adventures chief operations manager Bruce Patrick Soimil, who has known Kim for three years, hoped to bring international paragliding competitions to Tamparuli next year.
